Hollis Community Church

This is probably one of the final updates about the “Hollis Express”. For those of you who do not know about it: This is a micro bus that was donated to Hollis Community Church by Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Augusta, GA.

The bus is being filled with needed items such as tools, etc. The bus will then be transported via auto carrier across the U.S. to Seattle; it will then be placed on a barge and will eventually arrive out here on Prince of Wales Island.

The estimated departure time for the bus is the end of this week or the beginning of next week. So…if you were planning to put anything on the bus you need to contact Chuck Renfro now at crenfro@howardlumber.net or phone 706 855 2701 direct # x701, or cell 829 7744.
Our other contact, Chris Kerley, is currently here in Hollis with the Mechanical Team from Grace Baptist of Evans, so do not try to contact him.

Also, carrier costs are a little more than expected because of the height of the bus. Quotes have been from a min. of $2500 and up. There have been no specific donations toward this transport cost. If you or your group would like to contribute in this way, please email Jeff and let him know today or tomorrow.
