North to Alaska: We made it!
Well, We finally made our destination. We traveled for 14 days and experienced high winds, hail, tornadoes, snow and ice, and a cancelled ferry in B.C. We even lost our awning from the camper (while driving) outside of
When we arrived in Hollis we had a brief tour of the house and within 45 minutes Jeff was outside with a shovel in his hands working right along with the mission team that was already on-site working on the camp.
We would also like to announce that we are expecting another blessing from the Lord in November!!
What God has accomplished so far:
The first team here was a group from Significant Living. Their team members were from
Prayer requests:
Rhonda’s pregnancy (due November)
Safety for our family: spiritually and physically
Safety for work teams coming here
Softened hearts for the people of Hollis
Unity in the body at Hollis
The kid’s had a great experience when a team led by Lenard and Debbie Nance (YWAM) came to the island with a group of Native Americans to reach out to the native community here in Southeast Alaska. We learned a lot about the Native culture and history here on the island. A special ceremony was held one night where all our children were given their Indian names.
